The El Konejo Kampers donate funds to Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge #2477

On behalf of the El Konejo Kampers, Leading Knight Jim Moye presented a generous donation to the membership of Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge #2477. The donation was presented during our regular meeting on March 4th and was to disbursed as follows:

$1,750 to the Scholarship Fund ($250 in memory of Kathy Ryder)

$400 toward the purchase of large bowls for the kitchen

$500 to the Boy Scouts

$2,000 to CHEA’s Major Project

The first meeting of every month is held in honor of the “Purple Pig”, which is the mascot of our California-Hawaii Elks Association’s Major Project. On Wednesday February 4th members were honored for their generous contribution efforts to the “Purple Pig”. Below is a picture of the recipients of certificates for this month. CVLPA Donates toys for the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge Charity Basket Program

As they have done so many years in the past, the Conejo Valley Legal Professionals Association has provided a generous donation of toys to be used for the Charity Basket Program conducted by members of the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge #2477. On Wednesday December 3rd, 2014, Leading Knight Jim Moye was invited to attend the meeting of CVLPA and received the toys on behalf of the Lodge.
