The Passing of Brother Ralph Vester
Brother Ralph Vester was born November 13th 1928 in Datto, AZ. Ralph was initiated on August 17, 1953 in Oxnard and served as Exalted Ruler of Oxnard Lodge #1443 for the year of 1999-2000. Ralph became a life member in 2000 during his tenure at the Oxnard lodge. He took a Transfer demit to our lodge on 9/22/2004. He leaves behind his spouse Farlin Vester.
Ralph passed on November 15 in Oakridge, Washington where his family resides.
“The clock of their day has stopped and across its dial motionless shadows mark the hour of eleven. With us, the golden hour of recollection.”
We shall meet, but we shall miss him,
There will be the vacant chair,
But though we no more possess him,
Still our hearts his memory bear,
But a while ago we gathered,
Friendship beaming in each eye,
Now the golden cord is severed,
He has passed to realms on high.
