Brotherly Love
Submitted by one of the members of our lodge this needs no explaination -
One evening an old Indian man was talking with his grandson. He paused for a moment and said, “My son, I want you to listen carefully to me.”
The young boy gazed into his grandfather’s eyes and said, “alright.”
“My son”, he said, “There are two wolves that live inside each of our minds.
One is evil and full of guilt, anger, envy, jealousy, regret, lies, self-pity, arrogance, instigation, negativity, low esteem, dysfunction, divisiveness, and sorrow.
The other is good, with joy, love, benefolence, hope, truth, kindness, fidelity, compassion, positive attitude, peace, faith and compassion.”
The young boy thought for a moment and then asked, “but which wolf wins?”
The old Indian replied, “the one you feed.”
